35-POUND STRUT SET - 212853

Ordered replacement struts for a low profile Packasport ski box that had been sitting on a shelf in the garage for 13 years & had depressured from lack of use just enough not to be able to hold open the lid. Online order filled in about a week, installed in a few minutes & the box is as good as new.

And 9 days ago I sent an email stating the I received (1) 35LB strut and (1) 55LB strut due to a shipping error. What about that sir?

Fit is perfect. However, If using your box in wintery conditions, may need to consider higher pressure struts. The 35lb DOES lift the top, slowly and gently, when unabated. However, with a thin light sheet of snow and ice, the shocks alone would neither lift nor hold the top open. I need to go heavier weight...

Replacement went smoothly & my 23 year old pack a sport box has a new lease on life. I should have done this a few years ago. The new shocks had a few sharp edges/weld slag that I had to file off prior to installing to prevent scratches on whatever I am carrying.
